- ROOM PARENT
- Room parents are the liaison between the PTO and the parents in an individual classroom. Teachers might ask a room parent to reach out to parents for materials or volunteer requests. Room parents are tasked with collecting funds for class gifts and organizing room parties. This is most often a co-room parent role and split between two parents.
- HOSPITALITY TEAM
- Our hospitality group works to stock the teachers’ lounge with special treats, provide lunches, celebrate Birthdays for all staff and many other fun treats for our teachers and staff all throughout the year. They could use your help at various times throughout the year for as little or as long as you are available.

Visitors & Background Checks
Carmel Clay Schools requires all visitors to check in using our visitor management system. Visitors must provide a driver's license or state ID for a record check and wear a bade while in the school.
If your visit includes volunteering or interacting with students, you must complete a background check. Parents and guardians hoping to volunteer in the future are encourages to complete this process now to be prepared for the school year. Background checks are valid for three years, and individuals will be notified when it's time to renew.
